The Indiana Property & Casualty producer exam: general and state parts

Indiana splits the Property & Casualty licensing exam into a general (national) part and a state-specific part on Indiana law: Property & Casualty combined exam: 150 total (100 scored + 10 pretest general, 35 scored + 5 pretest state). Time limit: 180 minutes. Passing: 70. The general part is what the practice tests on this page drill - policy types, provisions and riders, underwriting, and federal rules - while the state part comes from Indiana's own statutes and regulations, listed in the official content outline.

Candidates who pass the general part but fail the state part usually studied a national textbook and skipped their state's law chapter. Read the outline's state section, note every statute it cites, and confirm the details with the Indiana Department of Insurance.
